libsvn-hooks-perl software package provides framework for implementing Subversion hooks, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsvn-hooks-perl
libsvn-hooks-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsvn-hooks-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsvn-hooks-perl *
You will get with libsvn-hooks-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
